MD Karma Find...I Hope it's a Good Sign

Hello All. Haven't been able to hunt since last weekend when I hit a couple of sites real hard with meager results:
1970's toys, boat light and brass flange, misc hardware, play money, suface find pkt knife, toasted compact case lid, $3 or so in clad, (3) 1940's wheaties.

The only great find was a small solid brass Buddah (I guess) figurine. I hope this is a good omen of things to come...will test it out later today.

Thanks for tuning in and good luck. C9

Cool looking piece!

Oooh, I love that Hot Wheels Corvette! Looks very complete, too. Looks to be the 1995 Collector #197:

Congrats on the finds. The toasted compact is a Princess Pat compact from the 1920's. Sorry I know this, but I found the exact same one about 4 years ago.

Hi BomberJohn. Yes on closer inspection I see "Princess Pat" engraving. I have one other complete Princess Pat piece. Thanks for the reply and ID! HH C9

There is a lot of brass and brass sells by the pound. I have almost 30 lbs of copper and brass from last year found while MDing. #1 copper is $2.70 a pound in my neck of the woods.

That is a bunch of cool finds!
