MD clubs, groups or events

Clubs (in all but the very biggest cities), have gone the way of the dinasour . Reason is: the internet has replaced our social interaction needs. Nowadays , whenever someone wants to see who's finding what , or brag/show a find , or find out who hunts his area, or research machines , etc... He tends to hop on-line . Thus starting in the mid to late 1990's, lots of clubs dwindled /closed d/t lack of attendees .

Just find a hunting partner if you like. Clubs are toxic...your either in the clique or you're not...

sent from a potato...

Ah yes. ;) And then there's attitudes such as that, that also spelled the death knell for clubs to have worked too. Oh well .

. No offense, more than 2/3 of the detectorists I've run across are a bit strange here in Southern California. For this reason, I'll hunt alone. I ca cover more ground and can BS at the local Starbucks if I need to.
