Has anyone here know the story about an indian attack on a Fort in iowa where 4-men were each set out with a bag of gold to bury
before an indian attack. None of the four men made it back and the Gold was supposedly lost. I forget the amout but what I do remember
was figuring that each man was packing 60-Lbs of coins each..that equals 240 lbs of gold. That would be a find for shure. I don't know
if the story was true or not but if it was,I wouldn't think they would have went to far packing that much weight, especially if indians were around...
