I went for a hunt after work today. Typically I wouldn't post such finds, but the glass mug I found was special.

Growing up I had the Hamburgular mug that went with a set McDonalds put out in the early 80's. Today I found the Ronald McDonald matching mug. So cool!

My other finds were a shoe buckle frag, two 18th C. flat buttons, oil lamp parts, an 1884 IHC, and a padlock key fragment. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1476233451.827338.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1476233461.565108.jpg

Good hunts and best of luck out there

Steve

Keep an eye out for Mayor McCheese next time you hunt that property.

That coat hook thingy is a nice find.

i am amazed that mcd's mug made it this long without being broken. nice find. the others are not bad either. :laughing7: congrats!!!!

Scrappy, we grew up in the 80s too, so LOVE the Ronald mug!! That coat hook is amazing, too. Great for you! -Lisa & John

Cool mug shot, I still have my complete set of glasses from McDonald's back in the 70s. Hamburglar is my favorite. My wife gets on to me cause I have never let the kids use them....that's how I still have em.

During this strange time of Clown Panic, I am oddly soothed by your unearthing of a fully intact Ronald McDonald glass mug.

Hope you can use the hook to hang the mug in a place of honor in the kitchen

HEY SCRAP LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE A HOOK FROM A HALL TREE AND THE MCDONALDS GLASS , PRICELESS ..

That second pic looks like a pic of just about every hunt I've had in the past few years. Nice assortment of typical colonial and post colonial relics. That mug is great. Congrats Scrap. :occasion14:

Micky D's you know it's one of my all time favorites too Steve, maybe I'll take that ride to check that farm in the morning, I'll see how I feel in the morning.

Flat button and IHC are great finds! Love everything from the 19th century and older pretty much! :occasion14:

The mug is an odd find from a site that was last populated in the early 1800's. I'm glad to see you eked out some good finds from earlier times. :notworthy:

Thanks for bringing back the memories Steve. Although I no longer have mine, I remember the Hamburglar and those mugs well.

Scrappy.pngNice hunt Scrappy.

For some reason I imagined you as a fan of Grimace. Huh?

Lol. I didn't think of that. I had better not use this mug out in public

Not really odd. It's right on a road with houses across the street. There was some dumping here and beer cans. I chalk it up to either kids or dumping.

Most of my sites have much later crap strewn about

Cool finds Scrap! What setting do you use for glass on that Minelab?...lol thx for sharing...ddf

Congrats on some nice finds, especially the mug! My son graduated college last year. His prize possession is still the complete Inspector Gadget toy. I had to buy a lot of kid's meals to put that thing together! Treasure can be widely defined.

Thanks Tommy. I know it doesn't shine like some fancy mint finds out there. At least the hunt wasn't a complete Bust.
