Hey guys...
My name is Terry
I don't know exactly how to go about asking this because its kinda odd for me but here goes.
Back in 1987 i went to vocational school in the county that i live here in Kentucky
i was involved in Radio/TV? and computer repair. I was good enough at it that i went to regional competitions and came in second place....(had first place but forgot to unplug the set i fixed so that made me second)....won a huge silver medal for my school
Later that year i was entered into the state competition and won it and brought home the gold.
later that year i joined the marines and sometime later was honorably and medically discharged because of a spinal disease.
well after that i started building homes with my family and that started getting harder on me....
went on to work for Dish Network as an installer and was one of the best in my region.....gas prices went up and the vehicle i drove was a gas hog and as a subcontractor you gotta pinch everywhere you can pinch when you're buying your own materials.
moved to Florida for awhile and became one of the top internet installers for central Florida.
broke apart with my girlfriend and moved back to Kentucky and started pouring concrete for a living.....and if anyone here has ever poured concrete you know how hard that is...and now its winter and i may get to work one day a month.
I'm currently applied and will probably be getting disability due to severe rheumatoid arthritis...spinal problems and depression/anxiety.
I want to get a small metal detector repair shop started here in Kentucky but my funds are depleted until i start getting some spare work going.
If any of you kind folks have any broken detector parts laying around that you don't want or need and don't try to break me up over them...could you kindly send it my way?
Like i stated....my money is gone until I either start getting some more work...(and that's hard to get when you work in the construction field and its dead of winter) and honestly its taken its toll.
But if you guys can part with your broken stuff i will gladly make it up to you somehow.....and trust me Ive never been one to ask anybody for anything...(especially donations) its below me to bum anything......Ive had to do it a couple of times but i don't like it.
But if Im good for anything its that Im good for my word.
So if you can part with parts please PM me and let me know, and like i said i will gladly make it up to you somehow.....even if its to dance at your wedding.
Thank you very sincerely
Terry Harding
