My Chinese isn't that good but this coin sure looks like a 1713 chinese coin that became a good luck charm due to celebrating emperors 60th birthday. And is very heavily worn. Emperor was Sheng Zu.Coin is very worn but sure looks rite inc only 1 dot on symbol to right of hole which was only done that year.Finding chinese coins near railroads and mining areas happens all the time.Due to those who mined and built RR .Most of the ones i got were 1800's.This would be 1st 1700's.Pick shows what a not beat one looks like.

Also got 2 wheat cents and a silver plated spoon.Only hunted for a few hours and abounded house has been pounded before so i think i did ok.
