Maybe just a rock.....maybe not...

I hesitate to put another rock though it's paces here.....but, this one bugs me a bit. Found in a river that has documented native american sites above and below where it was found here in western Maine.....thoughts?

It doesn't appear to have any indications that it was "worked" or "polished" in any fashion, so my guess is that it's just an odd shaped rock.

I'm not a "leaverite" person. If it's interesting to me - it's a "bringithome" and I probably still have it.
