Maybe a B&O item?

Hi everyone! I'm new on here, so bare with me. I found a lead rectangle, about half an inch wide with "Baltim" stamped on it.The rest is broke off. I know it at least said Baltimore on it, but could it have read Baltimore and Ohio? At any rate, what could it be?

here is a pdf article about, Adams White Lead Co. of Baltimore, the co.
was bought out by The Omaha White Lead Co., in 1885, says white lead
not sure the dif in types of lead,i used search term (bar lead Baltimore)

Thanks! I found these two items at the site of a home built in 1812, and moved in 1909.

Probably a freight seal used to prevent tampering.
