I hope not. The Mayans figured they could continue that calendar anytime. They never said end of days. End of a cycle maybe.. That is us being the doomsday culture. Was kinda like all electronics would quit working when we hit 2000.
It's sad, but I think someone did something stupid a week in advance. I sure hope nothing else of such nature happens.
