Have any details? Where did you find it, eroding riverbank, pier 1 imports, museum conservatory? That may help.
Neat looking!

Kind of looks Egyptian, to me anyhow, looking at the side view it's a cat face. That said, I don't know a bloody thing about Mayan or Egypt. Just opinionated that's all.

I did a little research, and I couldn't find any big eared cats that live in South America, but there were big eared cats along the Nile, so that makes me think Egypt even more, plus hands and feet have four toes like a cat, and the lack of other identifying features make me think female. When I have the time, I think I'll research Egyptian "cat gods."

I couldn't find anything Egyptian that looks like it. They have big eared cats, but not like that one.

It has a hint of a Nias Island (or some where in Indonesia) Ancestor figure, but it sure is ugly (sorry)
Is it wood or what?

Hi Moises, am not really experienced with Mayan Artifacts but to me it looks like the stuff they sell to Tourists in Peru on the local Markets. :) bye GA
