I managed to get me a pair of little ladies, wheat, a little clad, stripper clip, a buckle thingy and a bunch of tokens. I made a Youtube video also. I hit the Battle Creek Bearcats buckle thing with my relic shovel and broke it trying to straighten it out but oh well it happens, I broke it in a few pieces but solder it together.

That's a pretty cool buckle. How old?

I tried to find another one on the internet but haven't found one yet. There's a makers mark on the back though.

I'm on the south side of Kalamazoo, it's about 20 miles from here via Dickman road through Galesburg. I made some fantastic finds there in B.C. when they put in the most recent Dickman road project, I found many civil war era finds after the earth movers went through and uncovered 150 years of dirt. I seen a union belt plate come out of there, I found a 12lb cannon ball out of there. The spot on the video isn't far from there and I think the batch of old house spots I was hunting we're probably torn down maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Here's a couple nice relics I got from the Dickman rd. project.

I Live not to far from you I live In Climax , Those are some awesome finds , finding Civil war artifacts is what it's all about, love the old stuff. By chance were you Detecting a lake Easter Sunday...

I go out there to Blue lake with my water detector quite often but I haven't been in the water yet this year. That's where I usually buy my county park sticker at.

Will now I know why I don't find much , LOL. Looks like you have been detecting for a while and I bet you have found your share of good stuff, I sure would like to hear about them some time, the history about a find is almost as good as the find it's self. If you ever want to hunt with someone or just feel like talking Detecting look me up, I am sure we will run into each other one of these days. Good Luck and Good Hunting....

great finds as always. I always thought those nudie tokens would be better if they read "heads you win, tails you win" :laughing7:

Nice Buckle and great video !
