Here are the finds that I got at the ballpark. I did electrolysis on the knife and the blades were pretty much totally gone, the broach thingy was really deep right on top of the clay.
On the 13th I went to Battle Creek at a spot my brother and I tried a few years back, we still haven't found any silver there but the houses that were in the area are very old. I did bring along the flip so I got some video clips for you tube.
I got a charge out of finding that old steam whistle even though it's the second one I've found, it's something you just don't run across normally. I dug the bottles getting to a zinc fruit jar lid really deep. I think I could go back there and find more bottles for sure. The embossed soda bottle is a "Drink Try-Me Beverages" and the other one I thought maybe for olives but it makes a nice drinking glass as well.
