I got a new permission some weeks back but the ground was to frozen to dig. So today I headed back after the ground thawed and got some nice finds.
I found a Matron Head large cent with no date. I also found a glass dome floral broach in nice shape. A Buffalo nickel with no date. 1941 & 1936 wheat penny. A lead toy soldier. The property owner keep the toy soldier but he told me I was welcome to come back and metal detect his backyard anytime.

Like that brooch

could you get a date on the Large Cent
Unfortunately no. It's smooth where the date is.
The Matron Head [Coronet Head] had several variations from 1816 through 1857. The one I found looks like the 1816-1835 variety.

I found the same brooch for sale . Probably from the late 1800's to early 1900's.

If you asked me yesterday if I could tell you what goofus glass was, I would've said no.

Nice large cent. I think I can see a "7" in the date. Some cleaning might reveal more of the date.
