Matrix M6 vs XLT

The main differences is the XLT runs at 6.59 kHz and the M6 runs at 14 kHz. The XLT hasn't changed much in at least 15 years or more. ( That doesn't mean it won't hunt) The M6 is running the newer ground tracking and is about 3 years old. The M6 is a little more sensitive on smaller lower conductive targets due to the higher frequency.

Do you want simple or complex is another factor in deciding. The XLT has 39 user adjustments, some of which interact, so there are thousands of possible combinations of settings. The M6 has only a few adjustments with knobs. HH, George (MN)
