Mateus bottle

Found this in an old attack today. Can anyone date this? I have read its production started at the end of WWII

Current or recent production, I think. Mateus was the wine of choice when I was in Army flight school. Haven't had any in decades. If you Google Mateus wine and click on images you'll see a variety of bottles.

Mateus is a leading brand of rose wine of Portuguese .. very good .. I like taking accompany fish or paella.

The timing works perfectly. I was in The Green Machine from 1969 - 1972. I'm sure I drank most of my Mateus at Ft. Rucker, AL.
