Mastadon tooth frag?

To be honest i have absolutely no idea what this could be. My Dad found it a couple years back on the Peace river. It looks like it could be part of the enamel off a mammoth or mastodon tooth but i have no idea.

Very cool! Where was this found? I did a search for Peace River, and see there are many on the N. American continent.
