Dad & I did 10 hours gridding over old ground today & Friday.
We did pretty good;

18th C Bell, nearly complete & was over 18 inches deep!!!

Saxon Pin Head
Hammered Penny - Ed I, Bury St Edmund Mint
A Norman period (12th C) Annular Brooch with Beast Heads - A rare piece & another first for the collection.
Sestertius is a Lucilla, granddaughter of Antoninus Pius, daughter of Marcus Aurelius, wife of Lucius Verus and sister of Commodus. 164-168/169 AD. A new one for us!

Probably not. I've got the Deus 11" Coil & my custom settings seem to be getting the results I hoped. I look forward to running it over my better sites.
