Dad & I did 10 hours gridding over old ground today & Friday.
We did pretty good;

18th C Bell, nearly complete & was over 18 inches deep!!!:metaldetector:

A Norman period (12th C) Annular Brooch with Beast Heads - A rare piece & another first for the collection.:icon_thumright:
Sestertius is a Lucilla, granddaughter of Antoninus Pius, daughter of Marcus Aurelius, wife of Lucius Verus and sister of Commodus. 164-168/169 AD. A new one for us!

I know, I was tiring of digging deep in the sicky conditions & let Dad finish the second half of the hole...lol

Probably not. I've got the Deus 11" Coil & my custom settings seem to be getting the results I hoped. I look forward to running it over my better sites.
 

Nice finds as usual! Interesting heel plate and a nice pocket full of change. The pin head, clasp, pottery and coins man the old stuff y'all find is cool!
 

That one coin is huge - very nice! Good job on the hammered too.
