If Celtic its most likely Bronze not Brass. It does have the right thickness & shape of 'Ring' Money circa 200BC. Normally Gold or Gold plated although Bronze ones have been recorded. Need a hands on expert to sort this one out, as I'm only 50/50 with my ID :dontknow: (seems quite big & heavy for the ones I remember)

I was wondering if it could be a end terminal, of a Bronze Torc :dontknow: it could have been Gold dipped once :dontknow: did you say it had engraving :icon_scratch: this would strengthen the Torc idea :read2:

Thanks Crusader, you,r richt it is made of bronze in stead off brass (did not know how to explane the metal, sorry). :icon_thumleft:
