I found this mason’s trowel pendant at an old homesite.
I am assuming it was a Masonic item?
I found similar ones on the net but nothing quite like this one.
Any confirmation as to this pendant being Masonic?
Any guesses on age?
It appears to be brass.
I can’t imagine it being anything other than Masonic. Can you post picture of the back side of it? Seeing the circular hole in the end of the handle makes me wonder if it was on a chain originally. The hole would be pointless otherwise, as most trowels have a plain handle sans a loop/hole.
I don’t know who, other than a Mason, would want a small, decorative trowel. I have no idea as to age. Masonry has been going on in the USA since at least the 18th century. I’d guess 1920s or earlier; just a guess.

Nice find
Mason pendant for Charm bracelet or necklace seems to fit. They are sold in silver and gold today.

Yeah I think 1920s also into the 1930s maybe. Still it might be older. Has little details not found on things like it would in more recent times.
