martian meteorite

If you have hopes of someone making an ID on your find based on the info you gave, don't hold your breath!! Usually, supportive information like pictures, size, weight, where found, etc. are needed. These folks are good on this site, but not that good! My guess is........ a rock.

Pretty sure from the info submitted that this is not from Mars but a meteorite from Uranus. :laughing7: Sorry, couldn't resist.

Welcome to the forum, Rodney. When you get a chance, try posting a photograph or two of your find. It sounds interesting.

When you get pictures of it there is a Meteorite forum on here also.

Tom is totally correct.....

Members here are real good but they are not mind readers, with out pictures and full description to go on.....
