Got eggshell? Cool article Jeff, I know due to your back issues, you aren't able to get out as much as you like...but we appreciate the old articles, pics etc that you share. Ddf

A man truly ahead of his time. If he thought people were wasteful then, he would have a field day now...

Thanks for that. I love going though old newspapers.

Truly a man who knew his business. Thank you for finding such a cool article.

I think this guy reincarnated as my husband, who is a garbage hound and a bit of a junk hoarder who fixes things. It does bring in extra cash though, and you'd be surprised what people throw away. I've got spare flat screen TVs, computers and monitors, and a portable AC among other things. This guy probably did very well for himself and didn't die broke. Great way to think outside the box.

I wonder if his Free rental was a shack on the Dump site .
That would have been cool.

one Landfill near me, had a Restaurant on site.

which in Retrospect was Genius.

all those Hungry Garbage truck Drivers

& Discount food picked fresh

Lol...But isn't it a shame there is all that wasted food? Otoh, that's a lot of awesome compost for the garden. I believe there are folks who buy waste food from restaurants, let chickens root through it (and sell their eggs), then compost and sell what remains. Another great outside the box idea for generating income!
