✅ SOLVED Marker or scale thingy?

Found this item on an old beach with coins and relics from the mid to late 1800's. There are no marks or writing on it. It weighs 17.5 grams and is 1 1/4 inches across. You can click the pics below to see them bigger.

Its not magnetic Bosnmate, it did hang on something, you can see the wears marks in the area it would hang from. It reminds me of the old billiard hall scoring beads that used to hang above the table, every 5th one was bigger
