Howdy ya'll,
I live in Flippin, ar. Lot of history here in the 1800's In Marion county. If you have time please look it up . No battles here but a lot of skirmishes between to North & South. The white river is were a lot of men crossed over to get to Yellville and set up camp. which Is 7 mile from where I live . Also Bean cave where money was buried by the South, for as I know it hasn't been found yet .It's about some where in the range of 25-30 mile from me ,hope to get time to try and see if I can locate it. I do know that a lot of bushwhackers were in this area. Type in History of Marion county, Ar. If your having trouble finding it please let me know I'll try and help you .
