Marathon Weekend Hunt...with Firsts!

It was two straight solid days of detecting with Iron Patch. I think we covered all of the bases. My goals for this trip were a military button and a French lead seal. On day two I accomplished both of those goals. I picked up a yet to be identified navy button with the shank intact at one site and a French bale seal at another site. In addition I added to the coin count with a few more large coppers and a little silver 1912 fish scale.

I took a few pics of the finds in the day light so you could get a good look at the goodies. Note the thickness of the 2 penny cartwheel…compared to a 25 cent. Thanks for looking!
