I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you forum members that have dropped over to the "Metal Detecting For Gold" page to read my thread, "Bedrock and Gold, The Mysteries".

Because of you, it's over 100,000 views now, and without your reads, kind participation, and encouragement, that never could have happened.

Knowing it's appreciated has made all of the hard work it took to write the stories well worth it.

Thanks so much, and all the best,

Lanny

Yea I enjoyed it as well. You should make a book out of it. I (and no doubt many others) would buy it.

Lanny! Congrats on the 100,000!

It took me awhile to read through as well. Some things are meant to be savored, not rushed. And your kindness throughout to all is well know here on the boards.

I work nights, and have to be there, alone in the office, whether there is any work to be done or not. At times I've fallen so deeply into the stories, I've really had to snap out of it when I get called to the production floor. It is like having to wake up in the middle of a great dream.

Great bedtime stories for those of us who never had a reason to really grow up.

I like what delnorter called it ... Bedrock Files.

Thank you for all of it.

Katt.

Hefty,

It's so good to hear from you again. I trust all is well and that you still have the opportunity to chase a little gold. I still remember that picture of the nugget you posted--that was a beauty.

Thanks for your kind words, and all the best,

Lanny

John,

I'm going to take you up on that invite when I get back. Thanks for your support and kind words over the years--we have been at it for a while here on TNET haven't we--I'm sure when we chat I'll find out you've forgotten more about the whole mining process than I'll ever know. You have indeed found some beautiful gold over the years.

Marc is indeed missed.

I really appreciate your compliments and wishes.

All the best,

Lanny
