I got up early this morning, hoping to get in at least a couple hours before work. As soon as I started hunting the rain came. Just my luck.

Right before I was about to leave, I got a signal and thought - what the heck. I'm here so I might as well just check and see. Dug down about 7" and out pops a nice Barber dime! I don't know much about grading coins but this one appears to be in okay condition. (I know it's worth at least 10 Cents! LOL!)

So even though the day is a bust for the long hunt I didn't go home empty handed. :icon_thumright:

Hopefully the rain will abate and I can use the wet ground to my advantage later this weekend...

Hope everyone here has a great weekend!! :)

Just like you guys said I would.

I'm going to be hitting this spot exclusively for the next few days (weather permitting) as it has been a good producer for me so far. All of my older coins have been from this area and the most interesting objects found there too.

The photo below is of all the things I have dug in this one spot since July.

Have a kick-butt weekend everyone! (Now I gotta go to work!)

If you only get one, that a good one to get. :icon_thumright:

Full LIBERTY on that Barber 1907, so about Fine before factoring in the damage. You sure are taking out a lot of tokens from that area!

And mainer is exactly right: If your going to find just one, that Barber is a fine one to find!

those are some great solid finds from that one spot! awesome

How long have you been detecting? Your making some great finds. Have you broke into the 1800's yet?

Happy Hunting
