So I was going strong, had a XP Deus with an HF coil and a Nox 600. We were having a blast and then the health issues kicked in and numerous operations that totally limited everything that I did. This meant no bending over and no lifting, translation, no metal detecting. My world was turned upside down and still is really but now I can detect again.
However, my Deus with the HF coil as well as the Nox 600 have been left behind by all of the new and improved versions. I expected to see updates and so on but man, have they made leaps and bounds with the machines. But in this fast paced world of today, what was new even today is old so quickly and outdated. But all is well with me, what I have is still pretty awesome and more than able to find stuff. I just had to order new batteries to keep using them. Right now I just want to find an old coin, a silver or gold or a ring(even a junk ring right now LOL)
Right now everything is flooded and in standing water but at least it is a warmer day for a change. I have lost 17 lbs but need to loose 50 after all of this sitting around waiting. I drool over the finds and the videos and try not to look too hard on the newer machines, they are no longer in my abilities as we try to take care of my father and deal with two addict step daughters. My wife had her knee replaced (needs the other done too but won't) and she has a hard time digging too. But it is so good to be at it again.
