It's been raining HARD since mid morning here. It's just now let up somewhat. Most of my yard is flooded, and I can hear several sewer alarms going off in the neighborhood. It's about to drive me nuts! Anyways, I hope you guys have a safe and DRY Christmas.

Yes it's ridiculous up here also.
I don't think it's supposed to stop till overnight sometime

This morning I had a hard time getting out My yard.
My Explorer Sank in the Mud & I spun Mud Tracks all the way out.
I didn't even try to drive back in.

only good thing about it, is it brought 51 Degree Temps here

I hate to think what the snow would be looking like now.

Same thing here, Left some pretty good ruts in the yard earlier. Thought it was letting up, but it's back! At least the temp. isn't to bad, 65 deg. here

It's moving up this way now, and the tempts will warm so we can expect thunder overnight!

Hmm I'm glad I'm not seeing the slush. and Temps have risen to 53 here now.
as Msbeepbeep said the higher temps overnight may bring thunderstorms here too.

Oh I will almost always complain about rain

Only time I complain less about "rain" is in the winter when the alternative is snow or ice.

death Valley would be my ideal climate if I could only bring it to PA. or PA to it

Rain stopped here an hour ago, 90 miles NW of Detroit. Earlier they said we would get 40-60 wind..nothing yet..just sitting waiting on Santa to try and come down my chimney.

15 to 20 MPH with Gusts up to 40 Predicted for the day here.
Should blow Dry everything though

We got one good gust this morning at exactly 7am, which was 12 hours after was supposed to start..calm now.
My fire went out heh, trying to get it going again before friends pop in.

Yep the rain is starting to let up here too, temp is a "balmy" 58! Winds will pick up later and gust to 40.
We didn't decorate either no little ones home now, and hubby is recovering from a stroke so not a lot of free time right now.
I do plan on sneaking off in a little while and get in a little MD'ing just to unwind.
Went to the in-laws last night for family get together, took one look at all the people there and I wanted to turn around and go home! Me anti-social !? Nooooo, not much!
