Today, Terry (Icandigit) and I ventured out for a couple of hours before the rain arrived. Went to a small town to hunt one of their parks. We knew that we weren't going to have much time, so we went to do a little "clad" hunting. When we work a park, we always start off by "cleaning" up the new clad, and then go back and really work it for that deep signal silver. Well we only got to hunt for a couple of hours before the rain took us out, but we found over a 100 coins, so that wasn't too bad. My best find for the day, was an old watch fob with the picture on an Indian on the front, and embossed on the back it states AMERICAN ACCIDENT INSURANCE CO. LINCOLN, NEBR. BETTER BE SAFE THAN SORRY. I would have really liked to have seen this piece before it found itself buried for several years. Now that we have this part of the park "cleaned up" a little, can't wait to get back and really work it hard. It was deep, about 8 inches, but gave a real high tone, but it was above even the dollar signal, but since we have had a little rain, the ground was real easy to dig, so I just decided to see what it was. Glad that I did.
