Mama "V" forked over a bracelet + more

Well TN folks, I haven't been finding too much this week, but I'm working on a few new spots.
This is what I've found this week at the plantation house during three of my lunch breaks. It actually snowed today a bit and I LOVED IT!
I've been detecting lately with less discrimination (set on "foil") and finding things in the plantation yard that I and others have passed right over before. An example is this 1898 "V" nickel I found in a spot next to the house that I personally have been over about 20 times. Same story with this old bracelet. I've been over that spot so many times before, but today I got an iffy signal and dug this beauty. Maybe the wet soil & cold weather helped too. :icon_scratch:
Last week you may recall in my posts that I had found 1902 & 1905 "V" nickels and was hoping to find on into the 1800's. Well today was finally that day. Not in great shape but still a nice readable date.
Here are my finds:
*1898 "V" nickel
*1909 Wheat (no "S" or VDB") :-\
*1941 Jeff. nickel
*Old bracelet with black stones (onyx?)- Complete bracelet w/all stones in place.
*Two lantern pieces. One has a thumbwheel dated 1899.
*Silver plated fork, harmonica reeds, railroad sign reflector, brass buckle, lead shot.

Thanks for looking folks.
Stay warm, :icon_sunny:
MM

Hey MM can you gimmie a close up of that bracelet? are the stones solid or carved like a scarab. if so it would be carved on the front and back of each stone.. if the stones are smooth then its not a scarab bracelet.. at one time they did make a solid black bracelet in both styles.. and is the clasp area marked? usually they were Gold filled.. either way super nice find.. also, due to time frame, alot of fake stones were made out of hard plastic, to test this, heat up a straight pin or needle, till its flaming red ( umm hold with plyers lol, see if the pinpoint goes into the back of one of the stones, if it does, its plastic.. love it thou.

I don't know if these pictures are clear enough or not? My camera kept trying to auto focus on my fat fingers instead of the bracelet I think. :tongue3:
The stones are smooth. Great idea with the heated pin. I tried it and the hot pin didn't even phase the stone, so they are either stones or glass at least.

Thanks Bill. I can't believe we all missed it. I've been finding numerous nickels now that I set my discrim down a bit.
This "V" nickel today was right at the front right corner of the house where I dug that beautiful POLICE button before.
I was hoping for just a Buff and was pleasantly surprised with a "V".
Cold as h-ll out there today. :tongue3:
