Making of a tool?

[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Went out to the lake on the 2nd of the year & went down to a creek for about 10 min? & found this…rock.[/FONT]

[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] The more i've studied it it looks like someone was working it, broke & discarded . It's defiantly not natural. Looks like it was meant to be a small chopper/axe? It's about 1 1/2" wide & 3/4" thick in the middle, 2 1/2 long.

Well it's definitely been worked.Possibly better pictures of the chopping end would help.Possibly a small adze...mjm
