Its been raining a lot and ive been bored....
Came up with the idea of a bed extender for my 24" sniper to double the length.
But it breaks down nicely to stay small and packable.
I hope to get a chance to use it soon!!
It's been so long since I ran some dirt..

Nicely done.....
That little extra flair should help with the water flow too..

Looks like a beast! Hopefully the trap can keep up with all the material you can run through that guy

Thanks all, yeah we'll see how she does.
It's still a little sniper, so I don't think the feed rate will be increased per say.

I just want to actually use it!!
More rain for the weekend! :BangHead:ARRRG!!
I may have to play hooky one day since the beautiful days only happen during work ;)

Im assuming you just cut and glued that sucker together? Looks awesome! So is there a scoop on the extension as well or is it just a top deck for the material? Wouldnt mind an extension for my Sniper :P

Actually it's just a top plate and lower body that slide into the BGT and held in place by screws.
easy to assemble and dis-assemble and pack it all up.

Here you slide the extender into the back of the BGT and attach with bolts/wing nuts.

Next week might be an opening in the weather and I can get it wet.
(sorry for the fuzzy pics)

Nice mod. The way you slit the side on one of your additions gave me an idea on how to make an unconventional addition to one of my sluices.

Very nice fabrication work too!
