Well being new to the sport and being a new father money is kind of tight so I got an idea and took an old 1qt sauce pan and cut out an opening and drilled it with a half inch bit and I must say so far so good found a few wheats and a Buffalo nickel as soon as i get my cam back i will post my finds.Right now im in the process of moving to South Carolina so it will probably be in a week or 2 before all is posted. Thanks for reading

What did you use the pan for - how did you find coins with it?
I'm confused...
Could we get some more details?
Thanks
Bill.

well I took a 1 qt sauce pan and cut a piece off the front of it to make the opening then I drilled 1/2in holes throughout so the sand would flow through and reveal my finds its crude but it works hopefully that will give some idea of what I made

I've made a trunk load of homebuilt recovery tools.

Sandman is pretty much our resident.

I would advise spring the extra bucks and get what he uses!

It makes a lot of difference to have the proper tools.

Best
