Hello

anybody recognize this makers mark

I just cleaned this with white vinegar and discovered the markings
from my book both Knife and fork are Mid 1700's

There appears to be a stamped "H" on blade of knife

just wondering who the manufacturer may be

No idea, I spent hours trying to identify a pewter spoon handle I found in my backyard, it was stamped with just an “R” very heavy and in good shape. I think you’re on the right track, try a few google searches, that worked ok for me, I narrowed mine down but couldn’t be 100% positive. This like this drive me crazy, I’m sure I’ll try again during the long, dark, cold, seemingly endless winter months

Tommy, you’re invited out to Massachusetts anytime you want, my buddy has a home built in 1750 I have free rein on, tons of iron, but good relics to be had!!
