Was at a very old church dating back to early 1700's and thought I should be picking up great finds right and left this was not to be the case for any of us. It was junk or clad for the group but finally one guy unearthed a puppy paw buckle in decent shape, another guy gets a king George II farthing and me clad...quarter, a wheatie, 2 Lincolns and 3 dimes or so I thought till I washed my coins and out came a seated dime. We can only assume since the grounds were so pristine they had brought in top soil and in select areas and low spots did we get the good stuff.
