Major Announcement Tonite From Minelab Tonite

When i looked clock countdown ended tonight 9 pm est...

I wonder if it's the release of their new pin-pointer that was slated to come out, unless that's already out. From what I saw, It looked pretty much like Garrett's pointer pro in terms of functionality, but $40 more. Maybe I'm wrong and it's Excal III, but I am not holding my breath cuz I'm betting on the pinpointer...

nope,i don't think its a sales pitch

I was at windycity ron's today and told me about there count down at 7pm and can someone post the link to it,as I'd couldn't find it to save my life, lol!

Found it and here it is if no one else seen it.

So what happened to the Pro-pointer that was coming out in April?

If you plan on getting one, it may be good to get one in the first 1-2 years, if they are made in Ireland. I bought my Etrac, probably a year to year-1/2 after they came out and mine is an Ireland manufacture. Some people complain about the Malaysian built ones, but have no real factual data one way or another to support quality.

It's not in my budget now, but I do want one... I like the water proofing!, coil shows my its FBS, site says it has CO-FE numbers, but the video shows some sort of different analysis display.

Where's the made in sticker at?

Seems like an ETrac that goes wading without fear. For those who have to have both an Excal and an ETrac to fit their hunting, seems like a perfect storm! That and if it has a faster processor would certainly make it desireable somewhere in the right price range.

From all the posts here and there it looks like a weighty machine though, if the 5 lb. number is right.
