Bit more of the Maine yellow stuff last weekend...time for me to move up from panning though I think. I worked way to hard for too little...Must...process...more...material!!!
Come out to Vegas this winter and we can go to my spot. Always need a good digger!
Should have my custom built vibrating classifer feeding my gold cube by then.
It will take two to feed it.
This is what a transplanted Mainer does to stay sane.
Still own a place on Schoodic Lake, but can't get there much.
Keep working the cracks in bedrock. As the summer progresses and water levels drop, areas of bedrock which were underwater in the Spring and early Summer are now becoming exposed. Open these cracks and scrape the material between the cracks. This is the richest material you will find in most Maine streams. And all the gold in Maine is not in the East Branch in Byron. I have found gold in about every stream in central Maine as long as there is good gradient and areas of bedrock along the flow.
