Magnet fishing...?

Lots of tips/tricks on YouTube. Start with at least a 350lb pull as a previous poster mentioned. Good gloves are a must. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL.

High quality rope and learn how to tie a really good knot!

I have a 500 lb magnet and it is STRONG! It is not a "play toy" around large metal objects. It will snap a finger easily. It's probably about 4"-5" across the stainless steel circle holding the magnet.

OK, I did a little reading, watched a few videos, and got the 350lb Walmart Special. Was gonna take it on vacation with me to southeastern North Carolina next week but something came up.

I'll let y'all know how it turns out...

BTW, do you need to use a steel "keeper" plate on ceramic magnets like you do with iron, to preserve magnet strength?

lots of weapons by bridges
