Well, went on the yearly family camping trip, and I didn't do so great fishing, but I cleaned up on the fossils! I looked at a geological map and I think they are Madison limestone, but on the map there is ALOT going on geologically. Found a nice mix of corals, brachiopods, and some Really nice crinoid heads! Not sure if I also got some gastrolith or ammonites....If anyone can tell let me know. And if anyone sees anything uncommon, I would also like to know! Thanks for looking!

Those are some very nice crinoid (sea lily) heads and stems. Cool fossil finds.

Yes the crinoid specimens are real nice. ammonites, brachiopods, Bivalves in there also. What state were you hunting in?

Montana. I found this spot about 5 years ago while hiking some rough country. Every time I go back I feel like I find better and better stuff!

Those are cool, makes me want to go poke around the Madison next door in WY!

Awesome, I have a small ammonite collection, once I get theses prepared a little, they will go in it!
