I just got a negative feedback the first time in probably four years. Of course there's nothing eBay can do. And I refunded this **** his money and he still left me negative feedback. He never sent the thing back. I'm really pissed off. I want to send the guy a pile of dog **** in the mail. And Yes it's not the right thing to do but I am Super ticked off. It was over Sterling necklace for $65. the lady says are you sure it silver you need to make sure it's real. you should probably have some authenticity that it's real. I said ma'am it's silver nobody has authenticity that's real it's not worth it to get it Authenticated. Stupid people it makes me want to close my account. I don't get it by my feedback going down my sales will probably go down. However eBay makes money off of my sales but they won't work with me. Because I didn't have the pieces Authenticated.

Also I told her that I left my job to sell full-time because we just adopted the kids. She comes back and says that sounds kind of suspicious are you sure you're not selling fake silver. Did you buy it in China. Is it wholesale lot you got it from. I said no ma'am I said this is all real stuff it is the real thing. I do not sell fake silver online. And I've been selling on here for eight years. I have never sold anything fake. why would I start now. Especially a $65 necklace. It's like they try to make me out to be in the wrong. To make me sound like I was intentionally out to deceive. I sell $3500 a month. And I'm out to rip everybody off off of 65 bucks!!!

Its like ron white says, you cant fix stupid and thats exactly what this buyer sounds like.

You did not protect yourself by leaving it up to the process (An Ebay/Paypal claim). I assume you refunded right away to try to prevent negative feedback, but when you do that there's more risk you will not receive the item back. In that situation you bend over backwards for the buyer, or at least make it seem so, but you talk your way into letting the process play out.

I would never give a refund voluntarily before I received my item back.

PS- Don't feel too bad. I just received my first neg. in over 10 years. From an anal retentive pr!@*.

I'll be waiting for him to sell something, which he does on occasion. That's all I got to say about that.

isabella,
What was the buyers feedback rating? File a claim against the buyer if the item isn't returned. Sounds like she is new to ebay and nervous or got bad advice from someone.

Also check their feedback left for others. If they leave a high percentage of negatives ebay will supposedly work with you to remove a negative they leave for you.

Seems the guy was called a con artist by another seller, blocked.

Please post customer's ID so I can block them on our accounts. I will also add the name to our local seller's club black list.

I will gladly post this guys name him yeah I just refunded his money right away and I thought for sure that that would work but I guess not stupid. Anyways when I can get it Centry link is down so I'm not able to get back on the Internet at this moment but I will get back to you and I can't wait Till they sell something to!

Alanfernandez23 is the turds screen name.

I worked with a woman who wanted to buy my used car. I told her everything I had replaced on the car, which ran well, and I still got three days of intense questions like "Will it last a long time without a problem?" "Is the car gonna need repairs? etc. My eventual answer was "Don't buy it. I'm not getting married, I'm selling a car!" If you're a seller representing an item honestly, and the buyer is already on the edge of mistrust, you're looking at a headache.

Thanks for the heads up, he's been added to my blocked list

Just a thought but maybe the dummy didn't read or comprehend "The pendant is Silver Over Copper.",

That's possible. I very seldom read descriptions because I know all I need from the picture, but don't find it a real stretch that someone could miss a single line of text and rely more on what they see, what category the item is in, and the item specifics. When it does happen I think most people probably find their mistake, and most of the time I think the buyer sucks it up, but there's a small % that will take no responsibility for it. Most of the time a return/refund will take care of it, but there's always some who will not only take the blame but decide you are out the get them. In many of those cases I think it's a ploy to go on offense to try and make sure they don't lose, but there will always be the mental cases as well.

Isabella,

I am sorry to hear that happened. There is no cure for people who lack integrity. This individual is obviously running some kind of game to get free products.

I suggest you contact eBay and complain that the buyer didn't return the product.

Good luck to you and I hope you get a great increase in business in spite of this jerk.

Seems to me that if your auction stated "Sterling" or .925 then you have NO NEED to have it authenticated and you need to get on Ebay's butt cause ton's of Sterling is sold yearly on Ebay . Unless you claim it be owned by someone in history without proper paperwork you don't have to authenticate it cause the Sterling mark already has .
Start filing the proper claims and you can also have the negative removed but eBay needs to be involved and has to contact them about you claims ... except for time the process is painless and may take up to 45 days to resolve . They gave you a headache and now it's your turn to give them a pain in the backside . If they broke any rules or get nasty with you or Ebay after you file they can be removed from eBay . And they won't be able to just come back another day under another name cause eBay will block their IP address too . Good Luck , Woodstock
