The Mackinaw cache blades found in 1916 when two boys were digging gravel for their father on the Mackinaw river is fairly well-known. Google it if you want to know more. Here are a few examples of the blades. Some are un notched north blades others are notched and believed to be (hopewell) Snyder points. Some archaeologists think that they may be Lost Lake blades.
These blades, 20 some in all. Some of the thinnest and most finely napped blades ever found, 2 to 3 mm thin!
