Back in January, I did a lot of Coin Roll Hunting, and I stopped in February (When the banks started to hate me, because I already took out $20,000-$30,000 in dimes, and gave them $20,000-$30,000, in taped-back-together NF String rolls). I was finding a bit silver, but one box contained something different. I pulled out a plastic, "The World of Money, Play Money",or should I say, "The World Of Plastic, Plastic Skunk". with a cheesy picture of Roosevelt, and a picture of a torch that a 1st grader probably drew, out of a machine rolled NF and String dime roll. How Do they separate junk, from coins. I have found worn foreign silver, and even a new 5 pence (Huge Edge!) in every 5 boxes. Lucky the play money box made up for itself with a mercury dime.

How many more Silver Dimes did you find other than the Merc?
20-30 Thou, is a lot of dimes to search IMO.

I did that for a while a few years ago but only with half dollars.... I found a LOT of 40%ers nearly $200 worth, and one 1957 Franklin half. I ought to get a few more boxes... Its been enough time to start asking for some coin boxes again.. He he!

Not bad Results at all.
Thanks for the Quick Reply.

The plastic dime probably has the same value as a clad one!
I find them on the ground but not in a coin roll, yet.
