M6 "Beach" Mode - Wet, Dry or All Beach Conditions?

When you hunt at the beach to you use the "Beach" mode for all your hunting or only on the wet sand? I've been advised to hunt the dry sand in the "On" mode and then switch to the "Beach" mode for the wet sand.

However, it seems to me that, because of the high salt content to be found at the beach (in both wet and dry sand), it makes more sense to hunt the beach in the "Beach" mode all of the time. What are your thoughts/recommendations

You will want to ground balance in the wet and stay in the wet sand, then ground balance again when detecting the dry sand and stay in the dry sand. I'd think if its salt water you would want the salt mode for the dry and wet sand. You should post on the whites forum where it says MXTpro,MXT, and M6 there Deoslyfox should be able to tell you for sure as he does alot of beach detecting. HH
