Lunchtime Park hunt with the MXT

Another quick little lunch hunt, I think it maybe my best yet with my MXT...3 quarters, 4 pennies (including one canadian) and 7 dimes. Oh yeah...and lots of pull tabs! Playing around with some of the DISC settings as people have recommended. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE still seems to be the best way to learn....thanks all, happy hunting.

Keep at it, also try the RELIC mode for coins - the display will show "Buckle" on copper pennies, dimes, quarters and so on. I don't dig the zincolins (VDI 65 or so) Nickles will show up as a "Button" in the relic mode. The tones can drive you nuts but you'll get used to it once you start finding stuff. Happy hunting.

Thanks for the Relic tip, still haven't even flipped the switch to try that yet. When I do some testing with my "garden" this weekend I'll give it a whirl ...
