Metal Detecting
I've been showing my finds to the guy in the next office for a while. He's been saying we should detect his yard (house built in 1940).

Well today we finally got over there. In about 30 minutes I dug a memorial penny, a wheatie, a 60's Jefferson nickel, and a 1960 Rosie - all in his backyard. He was stunned!

Never got to the front as the noonday sun was oppressive on that side of the house. I told him there should be more in the front.

By the time we got back to the office, he was talking about what detector to buy... He wants to MD an old park near his house - with my help,of course.

So, what metal detector did you advise?

Some people are amazed at simple finds. Sounds like he will be a detectorist. :)
