I've been wanting to head over to a park nearby work during my lunch time for awhile. I had hit the baseball field at this park about a month ago, and found only one dime. On my way back to work, I had noticed that there was a little tot-lot nearby. I made a mental note to get back and do it some time.
Today, I did. When I pulled up, what I found was not only a small tot-lot, but a little shack where it looks like they sell hot dogs and ice cream during baseball games.
I ended up finding the followiing: (all clad)
1 Sac Dollar - 200P
2 Quarters
7 Dimes
14 Pennies
Not bad for 45 minutes!
OH YEAH.... Forgot to mention.. also found a tiny cross pendant that is about 1 inch long with the word STERLING on the back of it... Sweet!
**UPDATE***
So I stopped in for a half hour before work this morning, and dug a ton more. Seems like I may have found a virgin site. Anyhow, here are the total tallys up to this point:
Dollar - 1 Sac.. 2000P
Quarters - 7
Dimes - 23
Pennies - 19
One Sterling Silver Pendant
That brings it to a total of 50 coins equaling $5.24 in clad. Not bad for an hour and a half worth of work! Better than a skunk!
