Hello!!

I took an extended lunch break today to go detecting with my friend Wayne and we hit up Skinner Butte Park in Eugene Oregon. I dug up a 1903 Indian Head Cent, 1954-D silver Rosie Dime, 1944 Wheat Cent, 2 clad dimes, 2 Memorial cents, and 4 pull tabs. I had to head back to work but Wayne stayed at it; I haven't how well he did after I left, but he did dig a 1931 Buffalo nickel before I had to go back to work.

Making good use of those lunch breaks! Cheers!!

awesome lunch break to me!, nice indian, I like the imprint in the clod!!

When we were younger it was a two martini lunch. Now look at us!

1903... a nice oldie for your neck of the woods!

The mud clod with the IHC impression is very cool. GL&HH!

Anytime you find silver and an Indian on a short hunt you've had a good day!

That was an excellent short hunt !! Congrats on your silver, IH, and wheats.

Thank you for sharing the hunt and pictures with us

nice finds,I like the print in the clod also.I would almost be tempted to keep the clod to display with the penny.

Neil,

Cool to hear you are getting out and finding things.

I have to ask, do you wear latex gloves while detecting? I am just wondering because it looks like it and I can't see anyone can wear those detecting and not tear them to pieces.

Thanks man!

I use the black gloves from Harbor Freight ~ they aren't latex . . . . Nitrile, I think?
