Lunch Break Finds 5/11 (Close a door, open a window)

So last week I tried to give blood and the nurse hit a nerve in my arm. I got half the day off to go see the doctor. The wait was going to be about an hour (according to the nurse) so I walked to the 3 nearby banks in the area.

First two banks had $50 in CWR, $13.50 in loose halves and another 3 boxes of dimes and $30 in CWR.

Dimes:
3 boxes: x2
$30 CWR: x2

Halves: Skunks


The last bank was a BofA, had a cute teller working there that I struck up a conversation with. Were going out Friday

Then she took out the halves... $20 worth

Today was better



Total Dime Finds: $10,000 searched (even)

5 silver.


Total Half finds: (I never kept count, but this seems like a good time to start in my unbiased opinion) $70 searched

Yes $10,000 in dimes... not 40 boxes, a lot of CWR's in there (I would always ask).

Best part is I went 0 for $8000+ in dimes before finding my first keeper.

If you walked to these banks...how did you carry the coins? 3 boxes of dimes plus the other cwr seems like a lot to carry.

2 trips at the second bank. I just walked to my car and put them away after each visit.

But yes, it does suck carrying them 1 handed.
