So, a guy offered to let me detect his yard. He seemed interested in detecting so I gave him a quick lesson and let him use my ACE 250. He found an old luggage tag and I would like to give him some history/specifics for it but I am not finding anything concrete. I though someone with more knowledge of luggage tags could help. It was found in Michigan.
The tag says "Dunham" in large letters at the top of the tag (possible alternative spelling). And "Manistee" in small letters on the bottom of tag. Between the two names is the number "72".
There was a Manistee railroad but I can find a "Dunham" stop. Although there a Dunham in the upper peninsula. And there appears to have been a "Dunham" stop for the chicago northwestern railroad BUT I can find a Manistee connection for that RR.
Any information would be great.
