Barn find. Don't know what they are. Each one is different. Three are hollow. Appears to be stainless. Guesses?

I don't know the purpose, but it looks like they were making copies of civil war bullets. I see an enfield, three ringer and a gardner.

Check to see if they're silver. May have been a vampire slayer there:dontknow:

Wow, you're right! Definitely civil war bullets. I'm not sure if they are chrome or stainless but they are heavy. What's the purpose? Who knows.... but I just found some Civil War Bullet Pens online. I suppose they would fit an old gun. Or, as TommyB mentioned, vampire slaying. Thanks, everyone!

Not necessatily "replicas" but they may just be bullets cast to be used by a reloading shooter. Several are hollow based - not hollow pointed - by the way.

Still very viable hunting bullets. I hunt deer with cast round balls that a Revolutionary War rifleman would have not thought different from his own. Fresh cast lead is very shiney.
